Mr. Balln Big (a.k.a) Mr. C.L. Woodson III has been compared to the likes of Spike Lee, Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, Jay-Z, Master P and many other music and entertainment moguls in the entertainment industry. He is no-doubt a name to remember and one that is catching on with power players in the industry. Starting things off in 1991 with the creation of his rap duo 'Top-Prize', today he has accomplished a number of self setting high goals. It was the release of Top-Prize full length CD "Playalistic Conversations" that sparked the interest of industry executives. He has work with different hip-hop artist as well as R&B artist that has moved on to sign national contracts. Inspired by the successful release of Master P's "I'm Bout It", and directing Top-Prize first music video 'Handlin Bizness', Mr Balln Big set out to do other things that he loved, (filmmaker/acting). Determined to complete a full length film (with no film school knowledge) he read constant books, magazines and searched the net for any information on filmmaking he could. Never letting go of his musical ambition, the plan was to complete a film and showcase his music through out the films soundtrack. And that he did, the first film "The Hitt-Maker" (it's original title) later when distributed nationally renamed "Straight Hustl'N" is filled with music from his group as well as others he's worked with showcasing the Balln Big Entertainment roster. All of his films have been released nationally and were/is available at Blockbuster & Hollywood Video Stores across the country.
Although many none believers thought it was impossible, Mr. Balln Big stuck to it to see his dreams become a reality.
Mr. Balln Big, determined to make things happen in a major way, has been dreaming against the odds his entire life. Regardless the hurdles & hater obstacles he faces, he refuse to give up, and continue to strive for excellence. This Award-Winning indie filmmaker, music producer, rapper, actor, songwriter, & motivational speaker, has detailed the tools to his above average faith for others to read as helpful suggestions with conquering their goals and their outlook on life.
Mr. Balln Big grew up with nothing more than the strong leadership of his mother that instilled in him that regardless of your situation, you have the power and ability to make it better through education, hard work, dedication, and taking responsibility for your actions.
His big plans of going to college came crashing down when counselors told him that he could not receive financial aid. That devastating disappointment left him feeling as though there was no other way to survive than to start running with the wrong crowd. Eventually after living a brief life of turmoil, he regain his right mind and turned his life around and headed back in the right/proper direction.
With hopes of inspiring others, Mr. Balln Big wrote this book touching on his mis-haps and encouraging students that there is a way out of negative situations if you choose to seek a better way.
